Work of Walls: A Digital Portfolio for Architectural Excellence

Creating a trust-driven website experience for Work of Walls, an interior and architecture studio based in Pune.

[Project Overview]

Work of Walls is a Pune-based interior and architecture studio known for crafting thoughtful spatial experiences with a modern design language.

While the studio delivered strong visual and architectural work, their digital presence lacked the same level of clarity and professionalism. Most potential clients discovered the studio through Instagram or referrals, but there was no dedicated experience that properly communicated their expertise, process, and credibility.

The goal of this project was to design a modern website experience that feels minimal, structured, and trustworthy while helping visitors confidently explore the studio’s work and services.

[Problem Statement]

The existing digital presence relied heavily on social media, making it difficult for potential clients to fully understand the studio’s capabilities and approach.

Projects lacked structure, important information was scattered, and there was no clear journey guiding users from exploration to inquiry.

This created friction in three key areas:

• Difficulty evaluating expertise
• Low trust during decision-making
• Weak conversion into inquiries

[Project Overview]

[01] Understanding Trust

Potential clients often judge a studio’s professionalism within seconds. The experience needed to immediately communicate quality, clarity, and confidence.

[02] Visual Strategy

I analyzed the firm’s physical design style—modern, clean, and textured—and translated it into a digital design system with a focus on generous white space and elegant typography.

[03] Structuring the Experience

The content flow was designed to guide users naturally from inspiration to credibility to action instead of overwhelming them with information.

[04] Designing for Clarity

A minimal layout, generous whitespace, and strong visual hierarchy were used to create a calm and premium browsing experience.

[Outcome]

High-Fidelity Showcase: A fully responsive live site that acts as the firm’s primary client acquisition tool.
Optimized Performance: Achieved smooth 60fps scrolling and fast load times despite heavy use of high-res imagery.
Brand Alignment: 100% alignment between the firm’s physical design ethos and their new digital identity.

[Key Learnings]

Imagery is Everything

In luxury industries, the quality of the visual assets dictates the UI. I learned to let the photography lead the design.

Framer as a Power Tool

Building this project reinforced that moving from design to a live site in one tool is a massive competitive advantage for speed and quality.

Local Context Matters

Designing for a Pune-based firm meant understanding the local luxury market and what high-intent clients look for in an architect.
